Ice Rescue Training - The Victim Location A closer look at the victim in open water. Getting ready to suit up. Ready for the safety lines.
Rescuer & sled approaching the open water. Entering the water from behind the victim to prevent his ice shelf from breaking. Approaching the victim slowly, encouraging him to hang on to the ice. Securing the rescue harness.
Loading the victim for transport. Back on the ice thanks to the rope team back on shore. Just a little more and the medics can take over. The rescue sled.
